This is a VP graded Role based in Singapore and part of Asia Commercial Card Sales team. 

Position Objective: The successful candidate will have both Asia North and Asia South clusters responsibility for a number of initiatives as part of Citi's Commercial Cards sales team The role forms part of the Asia Commercial Cards Sales team and reports to the APAC head of Card Sales.

Citi Treasury and Trade Services (TTS) offers a broad range of cash management and trade services including Commercial Cards.  Citi’s global platform is unique in the industry for its reach, interoperability and flexibility. It provides clients with timely, accurate information and dynamic, web-based tools to effectively manage their securities portfolios, financial positions, working capital and supply chain around the world. Combined with a worldwide network of dedicated and experienced transaction services professionals, TTS is well-suited to serve clients anywhere they do business. 

Citi Commercial Cards

Citi Commercial Cards is a marquee product line within the global TTS business.  Citi is the most global issuer of Commercial Cards with the ability to issue local currency solutions issue in 65+countries, leveraging its own proprietary platforms and issuance infrastructure.  Citi Commercial Cards has been growing at or above industry rates for the past few years.  Citi’s growth in Asia has been unprecedented. Asia represents a significant continued growth opportunity.  The TTS cards business supports comprehensive cards solutions across Travel, B2B, Purchasing, and Meeting & Events to Citi’s institutional clients

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the growth and origination of new Commercial Cards business for Asia North and Asia South Clusters
  • Identify new sales opportunities and grow pipeline for key initiatives, including wins in a new product, geography or client buying segment.
  • Work closely with TTS Sales and Banking partners to drive deal origination and sales enablement.
  • Actively manage Won Deals to provide a positive client experience throughout implementation and ensure Revenues are ramped up, as well as and  leverage on seniors when there are ramp up issues
  • As a Sales Enablement Manager, this role works closely with all Cards Sales team in all the Initiatives.
  • Evaluate and review analytics of client spend and make recommendations for growth and development accordingly
  • Meet annual win and revenue targets of new to firm wallets
  • In Addition to the above,
    • Assists regional Card Sales team to help drive key sale initiatives, in particular new product launches and /or new flows to drive new wins
    • Be part of the team to assist to Define and implement a sales strategy tailored to commercial card solutions in Asia and B2B e-commerce globally.
    • The role involves assisting to develop value propositions, creating a robust go-to-market strategy and driving client acquisitions across all client segments and preparation for management review discussions

Development Value:

  • Strengthen existing commercial cards knowledge by understanding country and regional nuances globally
  • Help build the Ecommerce value proposition for Commercial Cards and be part of the newly established focus growth area for the bank.
  • Build an excellent network across the commercial cards industry and also within the Transaction Services division of the Bank

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree is good to have
  • Over 5 years of industry sales experience, preferably in the large/middle market sector
  • University Degree or Equivalent experience..
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to deal internally and externally with clients at senior level
  • Ability to work in a global matrix environment
