Job Description
Join our dynamic APAC Treasury and Chief Investment Office (TCIO) team as an Associate, where you will play a pivotal role in managing the budgeting and forecasting processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with treasurers and portfolio managers across 13 countries, providing insights and analysis to key stakeholders. Be part of a team that drives financial strategy and innovation, enhancing your technical and stakeholder management skills.
As an Associate in the APAC Treasury and CIO Planning and Analysis team, you will manage the budgeting and forecasting process for Treasury and CIO activities in the region. You will work closely with treasurers and portfolio managers to devise forecasting methodologies, generate balance sheet and P&L forecasts, and analyze financial results for business heads and stakeholders. This role offers excellent exposure to balance sheet management under various regulations and constraints, and provides opportunities for growth in technical and stakeholder management skills.
Job responsibilities

  • Produce periodic actual and forecast reports and variance analysis for internal MIS and external regulatory purposes.
  • Present actual and forecast results, variances, methodologies, and controls to business heads and stakeholders.
  • Produce legal entity balance sheet and P&L forecasts for financial, liquidity, and capital management.
  • Maintain effective controls on deliverables, adhering to firm policies and standards.
  • Improve existing processes to increase productivity.
  • Participate in global and regional P&A projects and ad-hoc initiatives.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Planning and Analysis, Finance, or Treasury functions in a financial institution
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Positive attitude towards learning and taking on responsibilities; a good team player
  • Demonstrated analytical mindset, structured thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Independent, with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, and SQL


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Relevant certified qualifications are an advantage
  • Experience in other low-code automation tools is an advantage
  • Experience in financial forecasting and analysis
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the APAC region
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and regions
