Opportunity
We are looking for a Procurement Intern to support our travel and events procurement activities. This role involves analyzing travel data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, assisting with venue sourcing, and supporting stakeholders with travel-related queries. The ideal candidate is a current university student pursuing a degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field, with a keen interest in procurement, travel, and events.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Travel Data Analysis & Cost Savings

Analyze travel spending to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Assist in preparing reports and insights for decision-making.

Assist in improve travel cost efficiency.
2. Meetings & Events Support

Assist in sourcing venues and coordinating with vendors.

Support event planning and execution.

Research industry trends and best practices.
3. Procurement & Project Assistance

Help with supplier management, purchase requests, and contracts.

Support procurement projects and ensure policy compliance.

Work independently while collaborating with teams.
4. Stakeholder Support

Assist internal teams with travel-related queries and approvals.

Support ad-hoc travel and event needs.

Ensure clear and timely communication with stakeholders and vendors.
Qualifications & Skills:

Currently enrolled in a university in Hotel Management, Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong analytical skills for interpreting travel and procurement data.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI).

Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.

Interest in procurement, travel management, and event planning.
