As the AI Business Consulting, you will partner with business and technology leaders to embed AI into core operations and ensure solutions are designed for adoption and deliver the anticipated business impact. You will shape the strategic vision for AI across Business functions and Office functions, translating vision into roadmaps and Target Operating Models to help Manulife adopt and scale AI responsibly. In addition, you will lead AI CoE overall progress management, the reporting and stakeholder communications including external partners such as the Economic Development Board (EDB) and Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). This is a newly created role, established as part of Manulife’s AI Center of Excellence (CoE), based in Singapore and reports to AI Commercialization.
Position Responsibilities:
Strategy
Support the creation of AI vision & product roadmap with senior leaders for Business functions (i.e., Distribution, Call Center, Claim) and Office functions (e.g., HR, Marketing, Legal, etc.) balancing platform investments and market readiness.
Identify gaps in data, platforms, integration, capabilities, and governance, then consult experts to recommend suitable enablers and execution plans.
Establish enterprise transparency by crafting a unified progress narrative to both local and regional leadership, minimizing ambiguity regarding status.
Sequence change milestones against the AI vision & roadmap.
Business Case and Project Delivery
Lead problem framing and value design to ensure AI solutions are grounded in measurable business outcomes and customer impact.
Lead assessment of external AI solutions with subject matter experts and make recommendations to senior leadership.
Manage small-scale proof-of-concept projects for both internal and external AI solutions.
Establish AI product delivery best practices to enable teams across the organization to increase delivery velocity and quality.
AI CoE Progress Management
Own the reporting cadence and stakeholder communications for external partners such as EDB and MAS for external AI solution partner collaborations.
Serve as the primary liaison for MAS-led PathFinder.ai community where member Financial Institutions share their experience implementing AI solutions while also gaining insights from the collective experiences.

Required Qualifications:
Strategic Consulting Expertise
Proven experience in management consulting or strategy roles for 6-8 years.
Strong ability to translate business vision into actionable roadmaps and operating models.
Skilled in problem framing, hypothesis-driven analysis, and building business cases with measurable outcomes.
AI & Digital Transformation Knowledge
Familiarity with AI technologies, data platforms, and digital transformation frameworks.
Ability to assess technology readiness and align solutions with business objectives.
Track record of delivering strategic technology or AI-related projects.
Program Management & Change Leadership
Experience driving a project with multi-functions.
Strong communication skills for crafting unified narratives for storytelling.
