Tower Research Capital, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, seeks a Trading Operations Engineer to join one of our trading teams in Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring high-volume live trading and portfolio risk
  • Contributing to the automated trading operations codebase
  • Managing ongoing projects with various Tower support teams
  • Coordinating software and hardware upgrades
  • Applying programmatic solutions to scale and expand trading operations
  • Resolving discrepancies with trading positions, broker statements, and internal applications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a related field
  • Strong software development skills in Python
  • Working knowledge of Linux operating system
  • Exceptional analytical abilities, strong communications skills, and experience making data-driven strategic decisions
  • Strong working knowledge of PNL and Risk reporting applications
  • Familiarity with current market structure and regulatory developments
  • Ability to comprehend and diagnose problems in complex real-time systems with minimal guidance
  • Capacity to work equally well independently and as a member of a team
  • Strong understanding of trading technology and fluency in technical concepts
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
