As an Executive Director in Trade and Working Capital, you will be responsible for both the Supply Chain Finance and the Structured Working Capital Products in the APAC region. You will play a pivotal role in innovating new product offerings and leading the end-to-end products life cycle. You will be responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. With your deep understanding of product development, you will guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. Your commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability will drive collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive product strategy and vision focused on Supply Chain Finance and Structured Working Capital to deliver significant value to customers.
- Leads country and currency expansion in APAC: Manage the product build-out to ensure global capabilities become best in class within the industry
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams including other Product partners and stakeholders across multiple trade products and regions to effectively implement the Supply Chain Finance and Structured Working Capital (SWC) strategy for APAC.
- Leads legal/tax/compliance discussions with internal legal partners and external legal counsels to ensure product meets evolving requirements in every APAC jurisdiction
- Provide executive oversight for product-level governance, risk, and control environments, ensuring robust product approvals, renewals, and compliance with regulatory standards through collaboration with Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams.
- Ensure that all products meet necessary regulatory, control, and compliance approvals prior to launch and maintain ongoing compliance through strategic oversight and engagement with relevant stakeholders.
- Drive market research and discovery efforts to identify emerging customer needs and integrate innovative solutions into the product roadmap, positioning the organization as a market leader.
- Champion the rollout of new systems and technologies, working collaboratively with Technology teams to ensure alignment with product parameters and enhancement of the client experience.
- Serve as the APAC primary executive point of contact for second-line risk and product control partners, regulators, and local governance bodies fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Ensure readiness and coordinate reviews by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and internal audit teams ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
- Manages P&L including delivery of revenue goals, achievement of expense targets, management of cost allocations and introduction of product-specific initiatives to measure/improve product profitability for the APAC Supply Chain Finance and Structured Working Capital products.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor Degree in Finance or related disciplines
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Supply Chain Finance, Receivables Finance or other Core Trade or Structured Working Capital products within a banking or financial services environment, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs
- Deep expertise in Supply Chain Finance, Receivables Finance and other Structured Working Capital products within a banking or financial services environment, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in senior leadership roles within Trade Finance product management, with a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive strategic decision-making and product development.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to Trade Finance, with experience in navigating complex regulatory environments and ensuring product compliance.
- Experience in developing innovative solutions to address bespoke client and market needs, with a focus on enhancing the client experience and achieving business objectives including commercialization
- Strong project management background and experience in delivering impactful projects from start to finish.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives, regulators, and key stakeholders
- Exposure to IT development projects from kick-off to launch and deep understanding of the product lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
- Experience in additional product sets - Inventory Finance, Borrowing Base Finance, or Export Finance is advantageous.
- Ability to market products to achieve a desired client outcome and provide client centric solutions.
- Experience in securitization is advantageous.
- Masters Education is preferred but not a must.
