About the Role

The Trade Operations team manages Dexterity’s live trading environment. This includes configuring, monitoring, and optimizing the trading system as well as handling risk and capital deployment. The Trade Operations team focuses on automating tasks, driving monetization, and preparing for the unexpected. A typical day might include coding a tt orderbook from scratch in python, debugging odd behavior in an exchange integration, and deploying a live strategy with updated parameters.

In this role you will engage with exchanges and fulfill technical requirements. Successful members of the team have exceptional communication and organizational skills along with a very high attention to detail and strong technology background. Projects include: market access, monitoring, algo/strategy evaluation and management, performance tuning, and automation. This is a full time, in-person role at our San Francisco office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 0-2 years of work experience in ops or equivalent field
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Basic knowledge of computer programming
  • Familiarity with computing hardware
  • Ambitious with a strong desire to make an impact
  • Familiarity with Python and C++ programming language
  • Knowledge of UNIX operating systems (we use Linux)

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual base salary range of $175,000 to $200,000
