On behalf of one of its clients, a marketing agency dedicated to F&B industry, the French Chamber of commerce is looking for a Trade Marketing Manager.
This position is a great opportunity with an international scope and a young and dynamic working environment.

Role :

The role is responsible for managing all the retails and events related activities across 3 countries with Singapore as the primary market followed by Indonesia and Malaysia respectively.

The incumbent is expected to initially build strategic & executional plans for both B2B and B2C, with strong alignment amongst all stakeholders. Sales, marketing, trade marketing, clients, consumers, event partners, many different parties will be part of everyday business.

You will be working closely with both the Communication team and Design team.

Missions :
  • Manage clients' projects including trade marketing & events.
  • Define, build and implement communication and marketing strategy with the Design and Communication teams for an integrated campaign, coordinating on creative assets and campaign materials.
  • Plan and deploy trade promotion programs for food and beverage products via all channels (distributor, retail, e-commerce, etc.)
  • Propose and execute trade branding activations via in-store display, OOH, sampling, gift-with-purchase, etc. to ensure effective marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain and improve relationships with stakeholders: importers, distributors, retailers, e-commerce platforms, country associations, government agencies, embassies, etc.
  • Research and connect with potential partners to explore new cooperation opportunities.
  • Research market and competitor trends, staying updated on current marketing developments.
  • Plan and organize indoor and outdoor events of varying scale.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, cost ratios, and ROI.
  • Track and evaluate results of each program/channel on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Ensure trade promotions, POS materials, and brand activations comply with local advertising and alcohol regulations, as well as internal brand guidelines.
  • Liaise with external vendors and agencies (printers, promoters, event staff, sampling teams, etc.) to support execution of campaigns and activations.


Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of trade and event marketing experience within retail environments or creative agencies (preferably with exposure to local supermarkets and events companies).
  • Strong understanding of consumer and customer needs, with some B2B experience.
  • Up to date on what's trending in the local market, particularly within the trade channel.
  • Experience planning and implementing end-to-end activities, from budgeting to KPIs, with retail and event partners.
  • Strong trade marketing affinity — enjoys storytelling, is passionate about building brands and concepts, and has a solid understanding of marketing channels and materials.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Good interpersonal skills, fluent in English.
  • A proactive go-getter, comfortable working in a start-up environment.
