As a Trade Finance Product Manager at OCBC, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of trade finance. What you do

As a Trade Finance Product Manager, you are responsible for defining and executing the end‑to‑end product strategy for the bank’s trade finance and supply chain solutions. This role owns the product vision, lifecycle management, risk alignment, and innovation agenda across traditional and digital trade products, ensuring the trade franchise remains competitive, scalable, and future ready to embrace digital trade solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Strategy & Ownership

  • Define and execute the global trade product strategy across trade and supply chain finance solutions.

  • Own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, from ideation and development to rollout, enhancement, and rationalisation.

  • Ensure products are aligned with client needs, market trends, risk and regulatory management objectives.

  • Drive product differentiation and value proposition clarity across bank network and client segments.

2. Risk Control & Governance

  • Ensure trade products operate within the bank’s risk appetite, credit policies, sanctions, AML, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Partner with Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Technology & Operations on product structuring, approvals, and ongoing governance.

  • Oversee product documentation standards and exception management.

3. Product Innovation

  • Drive product development initiatives, including digital trade, platform‑based solutions, ESG‑linked trade, and supply chain innovation.

  • Drive simplification, standardisation, and scalability of trade offerings.

4. Leadership

  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high performing Trade Finance team.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and commercial mindset.

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in trade finance with significant product management exposure.

  • Strong track record and passion in trade products ownership, structuring, and commercialization.

  • Deep understanding of trade risk, credit, documentation, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Growth mindset to drive digital transformation and innovation is highly desirable.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant professional qualifications preferred.
