Job summary
As a Trade and working capital client service analyst in the Trade and working capital client service team, you will help clients resolve inquiries by owning cases end-to-end, coordinating with partners, and communicating clearly through to resolution. You’ll follow defined procedures and controls, document actions taken, and escalate higher-risk or complex items when needed. You’ll also build foundational knowledge of trade and working capital solutions through training and coaching.
Job responsibilities- Respond to client inquiries using established procedures and service standards
- Own assigned cases from receipt through resolution, including timely client updates
- Investigate routine service requests by gathering facts, reviewing records, and identifying next steps
- Escalate complex, time-sensitive, or higher-risk matters to appropriate senior team members
- Coordinate with internal partners to complete required actions accurately and on time
- Support servicing activities across trade and working capital solutions throughout the transaction lifecycle
- Assist with operational events such as issuance, amendments, document handling, settlements, onboarding, and funding-cycle questions
- Maintain complete and accurate case records, including correspondence, supporting documents, actions taken, and resolution details
- Manage an assigned work queue using agreed prioritization and coverage expectations
- Follow information-handling requirements, operational controls, and escalation procedures, including referring unusual requests to the appropriate control team
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated client-service mindset and professionalism in client interactions
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Ability to follow defined procedures, controls, and escalation requirements
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills to gather facts and identify issues
- Ability to organize work, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teammates and internal partners
- Comfort learning new products, systems, and processes in a structured training environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes
- Coursework or internship experience in banking, trade finance, supply chain finance, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- Exposure to case management, workflow coordination, payments servicing, or financial services operations
- Basic knowledge of letters of credit, guarantees, documentary collections, or open account trade concepts
- Ability to communicate confidently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Interest in using data and digital tools to improve service quality and efficiency, with appropriate human review
- Experience documenting processes, identifying recurring issues, or contributing to process improvement
- Experience working with stakeholders across time zones or supporting regional clients
