Manage a fleet of test equipment, maintain operational standards, troubleshoot systems, and improve automated functional tests. Collaborate across functions for product qualification.
Job Description
Responsibility:
- Assist in managing a deployed fleet of hundreds of pieces of test equipment and related test software modules.
- Adhere to company standards and regulatory on Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines
- Create and enforce qualification standards across multiple product lines and functional departments.
- Work with contract manufacturers to validate product qualification using consigned test equipment.
- Ensure all testers functionally work with solid maintenance plan and provide proactive engineering support to minimize tester down time.
- Review and implement engineering change requests (ECR - ECO).
- Contribute to design reviews, improve automated functional tests.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Rigorous engineering design-based methodology combined with multi-disciplinary engineering skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems or robots.
- Ability to troubleshoot connected devices and sensors on Windows based machines.
- Workflow management using Jira and documentation in Confluence.
- Experience with version control management systems (EPDM, Bitbucket, Stash)
- Good communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English, speaking Chinese preferred, with basic presentation abilities.
- Fundamental skills in quality analysis and problem-solving.
- Self-motivated, strong sense of accountability and ownership.
- Strong at initiative, cost awareness, efficiency and continuous-improvement mindset.
- Well organized styles, champion of 5S experience.
Minimum education and work experience required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related engineering discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in a cross functional role dealing with electrical, mechanical, and software engineering.
