We're seeking a detail-oriented Test Engineer for Trade Applications, responsible for managing SIT/UAT environments, ensuring application stability, and facilitating testing success.
- We are looking for someone who is part Test Coordinator, part Environment Specialist, and part Business Analyst.
- They need to be comfortable with the "plumbing" of the application (EOD runs) while ensuring the "house" is ready for the business users (UAT).
- We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join the trade Application Refresh project. This role is critical in bridging the gap between technical environment stability and functional testing success within the Trade Applications domain.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the application testing team, providing clarifications on functional queries and resolving day-to-day SIT/UAT issues.
- Take ownership of the SIT and UAT environments, ensuring high availability and stability throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Execute and manage End-of-Day (EOD) batch processing according to the bank specific testing schedule.
- Proactively identify, track, and help resolve defects, ensuring the project meets the "Zero Critical/High" defect threshold.
- Monitor execution progress to ensure the project hits the mandatory 100% execution and 80% pass rate targets.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Trade Finance or Trade Application support (CMT - Cash Management & Trade knowledge is a required).
- Experience managing SIT/UAT environments. Familiarity with EOD/Batch processing workflows and scheduling.
- Ability to troubleshoot environment-related blockers versus application-code defects quickly.
- Strong interpersonal skills to provide "query clarification" to both technical developers and business stakeholders.
- Proficiency in defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM/QC).
