As a Technology Support II team member in the Currencies and Emerging Markets (CCEM) team, you will join a global team of 40+ members dedicated to front-office trade floor support and the stability & resiliency of the global CCEM applications. Our team interacts directly with Front Office traders, Middle Office users, and collaborates extensively with Application Development (AD) and Global Infrastructure teams. We focus on automation and tooling using DevOps principles to continuously enhance productivity and eliminate repetitive tasks. This role offers direct exposure to the live trading environment of the world's largest bank, providing a unique opportunity to develop creative and critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and collaboration with key stakeholders.

Job responsibilities
- Analyze and troubleshoot production application flows to ensure end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery supporting the business operations of the firm.
- Improve operational stability and availability through participation in the maintenance and enhancement of our systems.
- Provide trade floor support and problem-solving for the CCEM business, including Currencies & Emerging Markets.
- Collaborate extensively with developers, business users (including traders), and technology stakeholders.
- Plan, manage, monitor, and optimize production-related infrastructure, including Linux hosts and database systems.
- Participate in incident, problem, and change management to support full-stack technology systems and applications.
- Develop and implement automation and tooling using DevOps principles to enhance system reliability and productivity.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and follow up on incidents to ensure resolution and continuous improvement.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
- Formal training or certification on technology support concepts and 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Linux, scripting (Shell, Python, and/or Perl), and database systems.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with traders and other stakeholders.
- Exposure to observability and monitoring tools and techniques such as Grafana , Prometheus ,Datadog.
- Familiarity with processes in the scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.
- Knowledge of FX trading with specialization in Front and/or Middle office workflows.
- Ability to manage, monitor, and optimize production-related infrastructure, including Linux hosts.
- Experience in planning, managing, and ensuring the stability and resiliency of production systems.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in front-office trade floor support.
- Understanding of trade floor dynamics and eagerness to work in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience with risk management systems and front/middle office workflows.
- Proficiency in Linux, scripting (Shell, Python, and/or Perl), and database systems
- Knowledge on Cloud technologies preferably AWS
- Good to have Cloud certification (Solution architect/practitioner)
