What You Will Do

As a Technology Project Consultant, you will manage day‑to‑day execution of technology scopes within real estate buildouts, acting as the primary onsite point of contact for contractors, vendors, and cross‑functional technology teams. You will coordinate schedules, dependencies, and documentation while ensuring all systems are delivered to EOS and client standards. This role may require up to 40% international and domestic travel.

Project & Delivery Management

  • Lead daily project management for technology workstreams.
  • Serve as the primary field liaison for GCs, subcontractors, vendors, integrators, and service providers.
  • Build, track, and maintain project schedules, milestones, issue logs, risks, and progress reporting.
  • Align technology deliverables with construction and real estate timelines.
  • Provide clear stakeholder communication and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Technology Domain Oversight

Low Voltage & Network Infrastructure

  • Oversee structured cabling installation and MDF/IDF buildouts.
  • Coordinate UPS/PDU installation and ensure work aligns with drawings and standards.

Network Deployment

  • Manage network equipment logistics, ISP circuits, cross‑connects, and turn‑ups.
  • Coordinate switching, routing, firewall, and wireless installations including rack/stack, patching, cable management, and labeling.
  • Partner with Network Engineering during testing and commissioning.

Audio Visual (AV) & Video Conferencing

  • Oversee AV logistics, room technology installations, and commissioning.
  • Coordinate network port configurations, VLANs, IP reservations, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure integrator work meets design and quality standards.

Physical Security Systems

  • Manage installation of access control, biometrics, CCTV, and intrusion systems.
  • Coordinate with Corporate Security and networking teams throughout deployment.
  • Ensure compliance with building and enterprise security standards.

Onsite Coordination & Meetings

  • Participate in OAC meetings, site walks, design reviews, vendor coordination, and construction sessions.
  • Represent technology interests onsite and advocate for standards adherence.

Testing, Commissioning & Closeout

  • Oversee commissioning and acceptance of all technology systems.
  • Track and resolve punch‑list items.
  • Verify all handover materials, as‑builts, test reports, and warranties.
  • Deliver project closeout documentation and lessons learned.

Roles & Interfaces

  • Consultant: day‑to‑day execution and onsite management

  • Vendors/Integrators: implementation of cabling, network, AV, and security systems
  • GC/Architect/RE PM: construction coordination and schedule alignment

Geographic Scope

Projects span both domestic and international locations. You must be able to manage multi‑timezone teams, regional regulations, and cultural differences. Travel may be up to 40%.

Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience delivering technology project management within real estate or construction environments.
  • Experience working with GCs, architects, MEP consultants, electricians, low‑voltage contractors, AV integrators, and physical security vendors.
  • Strong technical understanding of structured cabling, networking, AV, and physical security systems.
  • Demonstrated success coordinating multidisciplinary vendors and construction teams.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder‑management skills in global environments.
