We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our team.  In this role you will coordinate and lead implementation projects for Clarivate customers. You will also define, scope and manage multiple projects of varying size/complexity and will work with senior project and other management to ensure technical and/or business objectives are achieved.   If this sounds like an opportunity you are interested in, then we would love to talk to you!

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 5 + years of experience as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, Implementation Consultant, or other equivalent experience
  • Effectively applies Project Management methodology, PS procedures, processes, etc.
  • End to end project delivery of software projects and services
  • Cross-functional teams’ coordination to ensure the project are completed on time, within scope and budget, and meeting the quality standards
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage several complex tasks concurrently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to deliver training
  • Ability to learn new information quickly and keep up with rapidly changing products and processes

  • Experience working in a library, academic or other relevant industry
  • Demonstrated ability to manage several complex tasks concurrently and meet deadlines
  • Ability to motivate a project team and customers without direct reporting responsibility/authority
  • Ability to learn new information quickly and keep up with rapidly changing products and processes
  • Master’s degree in library/information science or a related technical field.
  • PMP or other standard project management certification.
  • Working knowledge of library workflows and standards, and/or document management
  • Professional experience with cloud-based or Software as a Service (SaaS) products
  • PMP / PRINCE2 certified

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Implementing software products and services across APAC
  • Participate and contributes to process improvement, global initiative, and work standardization across APAC
  • Act as overall primary point of contact for the customer project team
  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing requirements
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of project and scope
  • Manages project risk through mitigation planning
  • Facilitates team and customer meetings
  • Holds regular status meetings with project team
  • Keeps executive team and stakeholders informed of project progress
  • Effectively applies Project Management methodology, PS procedures, processes, etc.
  • Perform software product configuration, based on customer’s requirements
  • Analyze and troubleshoot customer issues and requests, provide first line support to customers during implementation cycle
  • Interpret and understand customer requirements and workflows and translate into software solutions
  • Provide product training to customers, via Web-based or on-site training
  • Review and contribute to training materials, implementation tools and documents used internally and by customers
  • Coordinate extensively with other teams including Cloud Services, Installation, Support, Sales, and Product Management
  • Serves as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical specifications
