We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive the design and delivery of Trade Finance applications for a leading banking client. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Java, Microservices, API development, DevOps, and middleware technologies (WebSphere/JBoss) with hands-on experience in the banking domain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical design, development, and implementation of Trade Finance solutions.
  • Design and build secure, scalable APIs and Microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Drive DevOps adoption — CI/CD, automation, and containerization.
  • Manage and optimize application servers (WebSphere, JBoss) for performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with business and architecture teams to translate functional requirements into technical designs.
  • Ensure compliance with bank’s security, audit, and performance standards.
  • Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring to the development team.
  • Support production deployment and incident resolution.
Technical Skills Required:
  • Core: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful APIs (mandatory)
  • Middleware: IBM WebSphere, Red Hat JBoss
  • DevOps Tools: Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Database: Oracle / DB2 / PostgreSQL
  • Architecture: API Gateway, Integration Patterns, Event-driven Design
  • Other: CI/CD pipelines, Cloud exposure (preferred), application monitoring
Domain Expertise:
  • Strong understanding of Trade Finance products — Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Bills, Supply Chain Finance.
  • Prior experience in Banking and Financial Services is mandatory.
