Role Overview

We are seeking a Tech Lead (Cloud / .NET Backend) to provide hands-on technical leadership and architectural guidance for enterprise-scale digital transformation projects. You will design, build, and deliver modern, scalable cloud-native solutions — driving excellence across engineering practices, architecture design, and technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of cloud-native backend solutions leveraging .NET, microservices, and containerized architectures.

  • Serve as the technical authority across multiple projects — ensuring architectural integrity, scalability, performance, and security.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, solution architects, and DevOps engineers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

  • Define and implement best practices in software engineering, including CI/CD, code quality, security, and cloud infrastructure management.

  • Oversee and mentor development teams, performing code reviews and guiding design decisions to ensure alignment with architectural standards.

  • Develop and maintain the technology roadmap, ensuring alignment between technical strategy and business objectives.

  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools that enhance development efficiency and system reliability.

  • Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise standards, compliance, and security frameworks — including familiarity with Singapore’s GCC and SHIP-HATS 2.0 environments.

  • Support pre-sales and solutioning activities through technical assessments, architecture proposals, and client engagement.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in backend and cloud technologies, with a strong foundation in:

    • Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure (architecture, migration, deployment).

    • Backend Development: .NET Core, C#, RESTful APIs, Microservices.

    • Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.

    • Integration: Kafka, AMQP, API Gateways.

    • DevOps & CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Terraform.

    • Security & IaC: Identity management, infrastructure automation.

  • Solid understanding of software design patterns, domain-driven design (DDD), and architectural principles.

  • Strong exposure to agile delivery environments, with experience leading distributed development teams.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

  • Prior experience in consulting or public sector projects will be highly advantageous.
