Job Description

You will be part of the Service Operations – Client Life cycle Management and Client Relationship Management (CLM/CRM) Team, which is responsible for ensuring stable platform operations and the continuous improvement of our Avaloq software and products for our clients.

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will design, develop, maintain, and support business-critical applications and services within the CLM/CRM domain. You will be responsible for enhancing existing functionalities, investigating and resolving production issues, and ensuring the reliability, performance, and maintainability of the solutions delivered to our clients.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Service Managers, Product teams, and Project Delivery teams. You will take over, maintain, and enhance solutions delivered to production, investigate and resolve technical issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of applications and services used by our clients.

Your key tasks 
Ensure the stable, reliable, and efficient operation of Client Life cycle Management (CLM), Client Relationship Management (CRM), and integrated third-party applications.
Leverage strong software development and coding expertise to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents and complex technical issues.
Design, develop, test, and implement high-quality code fixes for application defects, ensuring system stability and performance.
Perform root cause analysis, delivering software changes, drive permanent resolutions, and contribute to continuous application enhancements and optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development life cycle to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
Maintain and enhance existing applications and services to meet evolving client and business requirements.
Participate in client workshops and support our business analysts in requirements analysis
Support testing activities, including functional validation, defect fixing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Maintain clear technical documentation and actively promote knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.
To work with agile mindset, process, and ticketing platforms (Jira)
Take ownership and responsibility for your area of expertise

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
Minimum 6+ Year experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Software Developer, or a similar role in the banking or financial services industry
Strong programming, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge and experience in RDBMS, Oracle SQL queries, and Oracle PL/SQL
Knowledge of Java programming languages. Unix, Python or similar can be valuable.
Experience in software design, development, testing, and troubleshooting
Familiarity with software development best practices, version control systems, and CI/CD concepts
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
Self-motivated, proactive, and organized working approach with a demonstrated passion for continuous learning
Full professional fluency in English (written and verbal

It would be a real bonus if you have
Experience in application support, incident management, or service operations environments
Knowledge of CLM, AML, KYC, onboarding, and related third-party solutions
Familiarity with cloud environments and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of Avaloq Core with certification
Experience with modern software engineering practices, automation, and monitoring tools
