Job Purpose:
As our business grows, we are seeking a results-oriented and autonomous Tax Manager to manage all tax functions for our Singapore operations and support Malaysian tax matters. This hands-on role requires a strong technical expert capable of handling compliance tasks end-to-end, while also acting as a key business partner to local teams, advising on tax implications and developing practical, efficient solutions for commercial activities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all end-to-end tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate submission of all returns, payments, and reporting in Singapore, including CIT,WHT,GST.
- Oversee necessary compliance tasks for Malaysian operations, including Sales and Service Tax (SST), CIT, and WHT filings.
- Business Partnering & Advisory: Proactively support and advise our global business teams on the tax implications of new initiatives, transactions, and operational changes in the region.
- Tax Strategy & Solutions: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement practical, tax-efficient solutions that align with business objectives while maintaining compliance.
- Implement and maintain the Group's transfer pricing policies and documentation, ensuring compliance in both jurisdictions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with tax authorities (IRAS/RMCD etc.) and external advisors, managing audits and inquiries efficiently.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments in both Singapore and Malaysia and proactively communicate relevant changes and impacts to the business.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 8-15 years of relevant tax experience, with robust, hands-on experience in the Singaporean tax regime. Malaysian tax knowledge is also required.
- Role Type: Proven experience as a self-sufficient individual contributor managing comprehensive tax functions within a dynamic corporate environment.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CA, SCTP accreditation) is strongly preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax, indirect tax, withholding tax, and transfer pricing principles across both Singapore and Malaysia.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex tax rules into practical, actionable business advice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with business teams and tax authorities.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines
