As a Tax Associate in our Singapore tax team, you will support tax compliance and advisory activities across direct and indirect taxes. You will work closely with internal and external partners, manage tax risks, and contribute to strategic initiatives. Your work will help ensure our business meets regulatory requirements and optimizes tax positions.
Job responsibilities
- Support tax compliance and reporting for Singapore business units, including transfer pricing and tax incentives
- Manage relationships with external tax advisors to mitigate risks
- Analyze tax law changes and incentive requirements to identify optimization opportunities
- Assist with BEPS returns, tax audits (Singapore and international), and financial statement audits
- Prepare and review withholding tax, income tax, and GST returns, including GST ACAP Programs
- Oversee tax provision processes and general ledger tax balances
- Drive process improvements, including automation of tax provision and GST filings
- Maintain centralized documentation and respond to information requests
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax within financial services or an offshore Centre of Excellence
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore tax law and practice

- Experience with process automation in tax compliance or reporting
