Our Talent Acquisition team supports Capital Group’s global recruiting needs. We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Senior Consultant in Singapore to drive Asia-Pacific recruiting.

As a Talent Acquisition Senior Consultant, you will partner with the business leaders and colleagues in HR to develop strategies to effectively identify, attract, engage, and hire world-class talent. You will have the opportunity to leverage your creative thinking, innovative problem solving to consult with business groups on talent needs and assessment. You will focus your efforts on leading search work focused on our investment and related roles encompassing the full life cycle from early career/university to experienced hiring. You will also manage the recruitment process for other complex and highly visible roles. Capital Group has a long-term orientation toward our investments and our associates, so this role will cultivate long-term relationships with candidates, business leaders within our firm, and third-party organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, implement and evolve recruiting strategies, methods and systems to generate a proactive and efficient approach to sourcing, assessing and on-boarding talent

  • Partner with business leaders and HR partners to follow through on our commitments to diversity, ensuring that sourcing strategies attract as diverse a range of candidates as possible

  • Manage key internal stakeholder relationships and consult with hiring managers to provide updates on key bodies of work, manage communication and feedback loop

  • Represent Capital Group as appropriate at conferences, networking and industry events

  • Participate in key Talent Acquisition and HR projects and programs as needed, to evolve the function and continue to develop as a leader in Talent Acquisition

  • You have in-depth knowledge of global recruitment, including innovative sourcing approaches, employment branding, market data, employment laws and assessment methods

  • You have demonstrated experience in attracting world class global investment talent and a keen understanding of the competitive landscape, particularly within the investment management / financial services industry

  • You have experience leading front office searches across the full lifecycle (university/early career to more experienced hires)

  • You have experience working with sophisticated stakeholder relationships, including business leaders and HR partners

  • You demonstrate experience building and maintaining global and regional networks

  • You demonstrate excellent communication skills, interpersonal savvy, intellectual curiosity and analytical skills

  • You have exceptional assessment skills including an understanding of competencies and deep understanding of behavioral and competency-based interviewing

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
