Roles & Responsibilities

  • Drive the full-cycle recruitment process for global and regional AI & Tech roles, including job scoping, sourcing, screening, stakeholder coordination, and offer management.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers, technical stakeholders, and HR peers to understand evolving AI/Tech hiring needs and shape recruitment strategies that align with business goals.
  • Build and maintain deep talent networks across AI/Tech disciplines, including NLP, CV, generative models, recommendation systems, and data platforms.
  • Craft customized sourcing strategies for niche and hard-to-fill roles, leveraging multiple channels such as GitHub, ArXiv, Kaggle, academic institutions, conferences, and AI/Tech communities.
  • Deliver strong candidate experience, acting as a brand ambassador for Tencent in global AI/Tech talent markets.
  • Track and analyse hiring metrics and develop talent intelligence reports to inform recruitment decisions, market positioning, and competitor benchmarking.
  • Actively engage in employer branding initiatives related to AI and tech hiring to attract top-tier talent in a competitive market.
Who We Look For

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • 5–8 years of recruitment experience, ideally with a focus on AI, machine learning, data science, or deep tech hiring.
  • Proven ability to work with technical stakeholders and engineering leaders in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Ability to adapt to cross-regional and cross-cultural work patterns. Great teamwork spirit, strong communication skills, and fast-learning ability.
  • Ability to communicate bilingually (English / Chinese) and the ability to deal with both international and HQ based stakeholders
