Position Overview

As the Talent Acquisition Lead – Singapore at Lumilens, you will own and drive end-to-end hiring for highly specialized technical roles across our Singapore and global teams.

You will partner closely with founders, engineering leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to attract and hire world-class talent across silicon photonics, hardware systems, and related software domains. This role requires a strategic, hands-on recruiter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and understands how to compete for top talent in deeply competitive, niche markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for technical roles across silicon photonics, optical systems, ASIC/SoC, packaging, hardware engineering, software, and manufacturing.

  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, success profiles, and hiring strategies aligned with business priorities

  • Drive proactive sourcing strategies including direct sourcing, referrals, and targeted talent mapping

  • Deliver a high-quality, white-glove candidate experience from initial outreach through offer and onboarding

Coordinate end-to-end onboarding and ensure full compliance with local regulations

Stakeholder & Advisory Partnership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing market intelligence, compensation insights, and talent availability data

  • Guide stakeholders on hiring timelines, talent trade-offs, and competitive positioning

  • Partner with leadership to align hiring with product roadmap and scaling priorities

    Talent Pipeline & Market Mapping

  • Build and maintain pipelines for business-critical and hard-to-fill technical roles

  • Conduct ongoing market mapping across competitors, startups, and research institutions

  • Develop long-term talent strategies to support future growth in Singapore and globally

    TA Leadership & Process Excellence

  • Help build and scale a high-impact Talent Acquisition function in Singapore

  • Mentor junior team members and hiring teams on interviewing best practices and candidate assessment

  • Improve recruiting processes, tools, and workflows to drive efficiency and consistency

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field

  • 6–10+ years of experience in technical talent acquisition, in-house or executive search

  • Proven experience hiring for highly specialized engineering roles, ideally within semiconductors, hardware, photonics, or deep-tech environments

  • Strong understanding of technology talent markets in Singapore and globally

  • Experience supporting regional or international hiring across multiple markets

  • Ability to influence and partner with senior technical and business stakeholders

  • Strong sourcing capability with a track record of closing passive, high-caliber candidates

  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills

Additional Expectations

  • Full-time position based in Singapore

  • Will require coordination across US and APAC time zones

  • Occasional travel for hiring initiatives and team collaboration
