About the Company
Our client is a well-established organization
with a strong presence in the transport and infrastructure sector.
We are
looking for a technical infrastructure specialist to support the deployment,
maintenance, and optimisation of system environments across development and
testing platforms.
- Administer
and maintain diverse operating systems such as Linux, Windows, and Unix-based
platforms;
- Set
up and manage middleware components and enterprise messaging systems;
- Install
and support database systems (e.g., relational databases) and directory
services;
- Configure
and manage container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and OpenShift;
- Troubleshoot
system and middleware issues, perform upgrades, and apply patches;
- Collaborate
with pre-sales and project teams to support infrastructure design, sizing, and
deployment planning;
- Contribute
to technical documentation and cross-team coordination during project
execution.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in systems or infrastructure
engineering;
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting and infrastructure automation;
- Strong Experience with enterprise platforms including middleware,
databases, and directory services;
- Familiarity with modern container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift);
- Strong foundational understanding of application architecture;
- Cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Red Hat) and certifications
are a plus;
- Excellent team collaboration and
communication skills.
