Job description
· The Systems Engineer is a critical role in the IT Platform & Delivery Services, Enterprise Systems Management Team. The ideal candidate will have specific knowledge and experience designing solutions for a variety of Enterprise Monitoring Tools. This might include BMC Products (including Patrol, BEM, SIM etc), CA products (UIM, NFA, APM), VMWare (vRops, vRA,vSphere, VDI), Dynatrace (DCRUM, AppMon), Solarwinds
· Strong analytical and leadership experience are required. The successful candidate will have experience designing and implementing BMC/CA/VMWare/Dynatrace/Solarwinds Products. Broad based, large scale enterprise experience is a must.
Qualifications:
· 3 year degree (Computer Science, Information Systems or relational functional field) and/or equivalent combination of education or work experience. Advanced degree preferred.
· 5+ years overall experience, with 1+ years acting as a lead engineer or principle designer/engineer/architect for major systems and their subsystems for the most complex computer applications and/or application initiatives.
· 3+ years of hands-on and demonstrable experience in the applicable technology domain.
· Expert in more than two technology domains with proficiency in multiple products and technologies.
· Thorough understanding and actively following industry leading solutions and technologies in the applicable domain.
· In-depth experience in integrated infrastructure solutions that span multiple layers that define an overall technology platform or ecosystem.
· Strong analytical ability, judgment and problem solving techniques with attention to detail.
· Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
· Strong ability to understand client and management expectations and to resolve issues that may affect delivery.
