We’re looking for a System Engineer to join our Systems & Services APAC team, this role is based in Singapore.

As a System Engineer you’ll be responsible for :

  • Work with Architecture Manager and Proposal to support pre-sales activities : system design and illustration, BOQ generation, attending customer meeting as technically support, drafting commissioning plan;
  • Work with Project Managers for project delivery planning and execution;
  • Lead system commissioning process and SAT;

 

What you’ll do
  • Develop detailed design for the relevant programmable building blocks of the solution to deliver;
  • Review/ verify the control design, schematics and drawings delivered by the Technical Designer;
  • Build mock-ups to test inter-operability and/or features of the sub-system;
  • Perform remote and on site commissioning;
  • Record time spent on projects, productive hours, rework hours;
  • Preparation of system testing and turnover documentation including scoped documents, test records, test procedures and other similar required documents;
  • Oversee, and coordinate 3rd party subcontractors as required;
  • Participate in system turnover walkdowns for both Construction and Customer; initiate, track and resolve punch list items for assigned areas of responsibility;
  • Develop, train and deploy user instruction/ manuals to customer organization during handover;
  • Work with all Stakeholders in the creation of quotes for architectures selected, system additions and upgrades;

More about you - Your qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control or Computer Engineering
  • Knowledge and experience in indoor DB (Distribution Board) or outdoor feeder pillar (OG Box), are added advantages
  • Knowledge and experience in indoor or outdoor lighting control system or protocol such as DALI or DMX, telecommunication systems and networks, field communication bus such as BACnet or Modbus, are added advantages
  • Knowledge and experience in Windows server setup, API, networking and cloud applications, are added advantages
  • Working knowledge with CAD is a must
  • Fluency in any language in ASEAN language is a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Take initiative, accepts responsibilities and has a sense of urgency
  • Self-motivated, customer-oriented and a strong team player
