Position Qualification Summary
Systems Administrators are responsible for the care and feeding of web-based applications for the supply chain industry that don’t go down.
We utilize a number of technologies including some of the usual suspects like F5, Cisco, UCS, VMWare, Linux, Netapp, Nimble, and Oracle to support these applications. We are also diligently transitioning from a traditional co-location model to fully hosted IaaS and PaaS service based architecture utilizing Amazon Web Services. We tie it all together with Cisco Firewalls, Switches, and Routers, Meraki wireless equipment, and F5 application delivery controllers. We utilize a number of open source and commercial applications like JBoss, Hornet MQ, IBM Websphere Application Server, IBM Websphere MQ, IBM Cognos, Axway, Webfocus, Chef, ElasticSearch, and Zenoss within our application stack. This means our Administrators learn and apply skills in everything from application, network, and server administration to DevOps scripting and process automation. We do it all in an effort to provide our customers with rock solid system availability and performance.
The systems that the Cloud Service Support team supports are critical to the ongoing success of BluJay Solutions, so we are committed to hiring the best and providing them the tools and knowledge to succeed.
