The Senior Vice President, Product Management for Credit Cards will be a strategic leader responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle of a suite of DBS's credit card products. This role involves driving the vision & strategy development and performance of card products to meet business objectives, enhance customer experience, maintain market leadership and ensure alignment with the bank’s objectives and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap:
    • Define and execute the overall product strategy and roadmap for the Credit Cards Products suite, aligning with business goals and market trends.
    • Identify new product opportunities, market segments, and strategic partnerships to expand the card CVP.
    • Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, customer needs assessments and Product Analytics to inform product development and budgeting process.
  • Product Development & Management:
    • Lead the development and launch of new card products and features, from conceptualization to post-launch performance monitoring. Oversee the entire product lifecycle, including product design, pricing, policy, features, benefits, and customer value propositions.
    • Collaborate closely with technology, operations, marketing, sales, and risk teams to ensure seamless product delivery and optimal customer journeys.
    • Supervise day-to-day product management for products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communications.
  • Product Performance & Governance:
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for the cards products, including acquisition, activation, usage, revenue, and profitability.
    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize portfolio performance, manage risk, and drive customer loyalty.
    • Strong focus on Risk & Governance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to card products.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across various departments, including Technology & Operations, Risk Management Group, Marketing, internal control departments.
    • Engage with external partners, card networks & vendors to stay abreast of market developments and foster strategic alliances.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in product management within the financial services industry, with a significant focus on Cards.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing card products, driving business growth, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of card scheme operations, payment ecosystems, and regulatory landscapes.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills along with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Marketing, specialized analytics or a related discipline. Master's degree preferred.
