JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position performs scheduled tasks, including ad-hoc/projects for overall demand & supply planning, logistics and customer service activities through product/information flows, focusing on key metrics, compliances, and supporting business growth, and ensures timely supply of goods maintaining the accuracy of inventory records including product returns, while managing short UBD & inactive inventories. The Supply Chain Specialist also responsible to drive monthly Sales & Operations (S&OP) Planning Process and execute and monitor of all supply & distribution planning related to activities to ensure timely availability of material while meeting inventory targets, minimizing obsolescence and optimizing costs.

Job Responsibilities

Demand Planning & Forecasting

  • Lead monthly S&OP review meetings and challenge the assumptions and numbers provided in the analysis in order to solicit functional knowledge to improve forecast accuracy
  • Submit periodic Net Requirement Forecast through SAP, based on cross-functional discussions, analyses on sales forecast, new product launches, phase-In/out schedule, etc.
  • Work closing with sales and marketing teams, regulatory, global planning, and local supply chain team striving to provide and accurate demand signal

Supply Planning

  • Review and manage STOs generated by system. Minimize manual process
  • Place manual STOs when required
  • Follow up and expedite shipment with distribution centers/ factories/ suppliers
  • Determine and maintain SNP parameters in SNP

Customer Order Fulfillment

  • Manage all kind of customer Service activities for assigned business units including customer purchase receiving, sales order creation, delivery date maintenance, backorder management, credit limit check, invoicing, credit memo communications, distribution coordination with 3PL/ Warehouse, and monthly sales closing
  • Maintain customer/ pricing master, and accurate system transactions and related communications for corrections, etc.
  • Handle customer queries, product complaints, recalls and exchange
  • Prepare shipping documents (invoice/ packing list/ others) as required by L/C
  • Resolve customer’s complaints to customer satisfaction and proactively identify root cause to prevent reoccurrence
  • Generate order and invoice reports as required
  • Work closely with regulatory to ensure proper license is valid for distribution

Inventory Management

  • Act on the short UBD, inactive Inventory, phase-in/phase-out, communicating with business partners to minimize the negative cost impact
  • Manage reverse logistics – PER, Returns for repairs, Warranty, etc.
  • Coordinate periodic inventory counts including field inventory
  • Reconcile and close discrepancy of inventory discrepancy in ERP, against WH/ 3PL/ field inventory Coordinate periodic inventory counts for 100% accuracy
  • Communicate implementation plans (and relevant changes) to geographies consistent with marketing & integrated business plans
  • Ensure inventory policies & LBE targets are met. Work closely with commercial, marketing and finance team to create right inventory control
  • Monitor safety stock and reorder points without hampering the customer service levels
  • Contribute to phase-in/phase-out processes for assigned product lines. Communicate implementation plans (and relevant changes) to geographies consistent with Marketing & integrated business plans
  • Monitor DOH and drive DOH reduction
  • Coordinate inventory allocation and/or transfer during times of supply constrain or in excess

Reporting

  • Create reports on sales/demand forecast accuracy, run-rate, inventory, short UBD, expiry etc.
  • Maintain forecasts and planning factors in demand planning system

Continuous Improvement

  • Execute continuous improvement focusing on supply chain processes
  • Drive inventory optimization and DOH for cost saving
  • Provide trainings to team members to enhance quality of work
