Title:
Subcontracts LeadKBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for a Subcontracts Lead to support the Abadi LNG project, one of the largest projects in Asia. This project will provide front-end design (FEED) for onshore liquefied natural gas facilities & will have a peak production capacity targets of 9.5 million tons per annum of LNG and 150 million standard cubic feet per day of pipeline gas. The Abadi LNG project has been designated a project of national strategic importance by the Indonesian government.
The Subcontracts Lead to manage & perform the full range of procurement and administration activities associated with subcontracting work.

Responsibilities:
Manage the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to the Subcontracts Project team
Qualify suppliers, issues requests for proposals, evaluate proposals, and maintain subcontract files in accordance with established procedures
Oversee and perform the full range of procurement and administration activities associated with subcontracting work on the project
Under broad direction, is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related disciplines or sub-groups within a function
Use specialized knowledge or skills to solve complex and unique problems, or direct the daily activities of a business, technical support, or functional support team
Establish priorities for the completion of assigned tasks
Use judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices
May direct resources, prioritize tasks and provide guidance to less experienced team members
Rely upon experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of field to ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategy
Intuitively work amongst the project’s requirements and corporate policy to ensure overall compliance
Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
Interface with all levels of the project team – and be able to represent and interface with all levels of internal and/or external management and corporate organization persons
Gather and compile data essential to solicitation, negotiation, and administration of purchase orders to meet project requirements

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in construction science, engineering, business, finance, supply chain, or a related field or equivalent work experience
15 + years of directly related experience
5 + years of experience in a Lead role
Subcontracts experience within the Oil & Gas Industry
Excellent MS Word and MS Excel skills
