The objective of this project is to study the security enhancements and features implemented or changed in EulerOS.

Through this project, the intern will:

  • Learn how to identify different Linux security mechanisms
  • Develop tools for security testing

Scope & Deliverables

  • Familiarise and understand EulerOS and if necessary, CentOS or RedHat Linux.
  • Identify the vendor-specific changes (e.g. optimizations, software, security configurations) made in EulerOS.
  • Documentation of  findings or insights gained during R&D of the project.

Prerequisites/Skills Required

  • Basic Understanding of Linux OS
  • Basic Understanding of Operating System Concepts
  • Basic Understanding of Computer Networking
  • Basic Knowledge of Python, C and Bash/Shell will be helpful
