Job Description

The Strategic Sourcing Manager – Semiconductor & Electronics shapes the company’s global supply base through strategic sourcing, supplier leadership, and cost management. This role develops category strategies, secures contracts, and unlocks supplier-enabled innovation to deliver measurable savings and mitigate risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain global commodity strategies and sourcing roadmaps.
  • Lead supplier selection, RFI/RFP/RFQ, and negotiations for LTAs.
  • Drive supplier segmentation, QBRs, and corrective action plans.
  • Deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, and productivity targets.
  • Identify and mitigate risks across capacity, supply continuity, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Ops, and R&D for innovation and design-to-cost.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strategic sourcing and category management.
  • Advanced negotiation and contracting skills.
  • Market intelligence, cost modeling, analytics.
  • Supplier relationship management at executive level.
  • Cross-functional leadership and influence.
  • Strong financial acumen.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years in sourcing, procurement, or supplier management.
  • Experience with supplier negotiations and global strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • CPSM/CIPS or equivalent certification.
  • Global, multi-site procurement experience.
