As a Staff Content Designer, you'll lead content strategy and UX writing for AI-powered products, mentor design peers, and align content objectives with business goals.
Role Description
As a Staff Content Designer on Dash, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping UX for the next generation of AI-powered products. You’ll own end-to-end content strategy and execution, ensuring our AI products feel simple, helpful, and worthy of trust.
On Dash Design, you’ll collaborate across teams to make Dash even more intuitive, intelligent, and powerful. You’ll also reimagine how millions of Dropbox customers can work smarter with help from built-in AI.
As a craft leader, you’ll shape a world-class content design discipline. You’ll be a thought partner to the Head of Content Design, mentor other content designers, and synthesize stakeholder feedback into high-quality artifacts for executive presentations and key milestones.
Responsibilities- Lead content strategy and UX writing across key Dropbox Dash features
- Align content design work with business goals, user needs, and established style guides
- Define, evolve, and champion content principles, frameworks, and reusable patterns
- Prioritize across competing needs to focus on the highest-impact projects
- Ensure content reflects feedback, metrics, technical constraints, localization, and accessibility best practices
- Elevate content and design quality through contributions in workshops and critiques
- Partner proactively with product designers, brand designers, researchers, product managers, engineers, and leaders at all levels
- Mentor other content designers and foster knowledge-sharing across the Dash Design team
- Collaborate with product marketing and other writing disciplines to ensure consistency across the user journey
- 7+ years of experience in UX writing, content design, or related fields
- Proven expertise in UX writing, content strategy, and systems thinking
- A portfolio demonstrating leadership and impact on work that delivered measurable value to users and the business
- Track record of influencing and collaborating effectively with cross-functional partners, including engineering, product, design, research, and leadership
- Ability to navigate complexity and prioritize a wide range of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience mentoring and guiding other content designers, with a record of raising the bar for quality and practice
- Strong collaboration skills with a low-ego, team-first approach

- Experience working on 0→1 products
- Experience working on productivity tools and/or AI-products

Compensation
Canada Pay Range
$158,000—$213,000 CAD
