The Impact of a Staff Compensation and Benefits Partner at Coupa:
As a Staff Compensation and Benefits Partner, you’ll play a key role in shaping, delivering, and scaling compensation and benefits programs that support Coupa’s global workforce. You’ll be a core member of the Total Rewards team, responsible for benchmarking, analyzing, and interpreting compensation data, while also supporting the administration and evolution of our benefits programs across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas.
This is a highly visible role requiring strong collaboration across HR, Finance, and business leadership. You’ll navigate a fast-paced, dynamic global environment, translating data into insights and influencing decisions that impact employee experience and business outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and deliver global compensation programs, including short- and long-term incentives, to attract and retain top talent. Lead benchmarking by managing survey participation, analyzing market data, and recommending updates to salary structures, bonus targets, job architecture, and benefits.
- Drive projects to refine salary structures and leveling frameworks supporting global growth.
- Generate insights from financial reports and data modeling to guide compensation decisions and highlight business performance.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, and optimize systems and processes with best practices and scalable solutions. Support compensation operations such as role evaluations, salary reviews, and maintain job architecture integrity.
- Coordinate annual benefit renewals and re-broking with brokers and vendors. Shape benefits strategy using market data to evolve programs meeting diverse employee needs worldwide.
- Manage benefit rollouts, including new programs like enhanced family leave across EMEA and APAC, coordinating with HRBPs, Payroll, Legal, and stakeholders. Develop clear communications to help employees and leaders understand compensation and benefits value. Serve as a trusted contact for employee inquiries, ensuring a positive experience.
What you will bring to Coupa:
- 5-8 years’ compensation and benefits experience, preferably in a multinational setting. Exceptional written and verbal English communication.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel/Google Sheets expertise and comfort handling complex data. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced global environment.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively across virtual, cross-functional teams. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, communicating complex topics clearly.
- Proactive, adaptable, solution-focused, with high integrity and professionalism. Demonstrated project management skills and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Experienced in compensation analysis and global benefits operations.
