As the Operations Central Team (OCT) Pump, Abatement and Chiller (PAC) Senior Manager at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for leading Front-End Manufacturing PAC strategic objectives to achieve the Best in Class (BIC) performance across network and industry. You will also be responsible for mentoring and building growth mindset, facilitate and drive improvement on Micron PAC engineering globally, driving global business processes, and enabling the leverage of world-wide resources to deliver industry benchmark methods. You are encouraged to work closely with global peer groups to identify areas of opportunities to improve PAC performance. Responsibilities and Task:

  • Develop and manage PAC engineering strategy and direction to meet PAC strategic objectives for key pillars (People, Safety & Sustainability, Cost, Speed, Scale and Quality)
  • Create, align and drive compliance in global PAC BKM and business process.
  • Collaborate with global peer groups from sites, Technology Development (TD), central teams and suppliers to execute strategic objectives to achieve Best-in-Class (BIC) performance.
  • Define, prioritize and manage resources for the PAC engineering with metrics across key projects based on strategic objectives.
  • Drive year on year optimization for PAC performance, improve business processes and existing systems in the network.
  • Standardize PAC equipment, monitor Fabs PAC performance, resolve cross site issue and provide help to respective sites when required.
  • Drive fab expansion and site startup, new technology transfer, first of a kind tool enablement, new PAC technology adoption and supplier engagement to meet strategic objectives.
  • Define and drive environmental sustainability strategy across network to achieve corporate environmental sustainability goals.

Leadership and Team Building

  • Set clear direction, goals, and expectations.
  • Encourages, mentors and empowers team members to propose their ideas and supports implementation.
  • Effectively delegates, prioritize issues and provide guidance for the team.
  • Proactively works towards creating a positive working environment through timely conflict management and resolution.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with global peer groups and organizations to enable teamwork across group boundaries

Strategic and Tactical Leadership

  • Develop and track metrics for benchmarking respective Fabs Performance.
  • Work with the Fabs and other functional areas on developing strategic objective with agreed business process.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives or enabling projects that support company objectives.
  • Strong people and collaboration skills to lead globally sites on BKM and Business process alignments.
  • Provide tactical support and coordination with fab as a team to resolve key issues upon request
  • Good organization skills and attention to details
  • The ability to interface with suppliers professionally

Requirements:

  • Masters/Bachelors Degree in Engineering or relevant field of experience
  • 3-5 years in leadership roles with relevant working experience
  • Good leadership skill in mentoring and managing the performance of teams.
  • Good teamwork and collaboration with other groups, internally and externally.
  • Willing to travel
