  • The Strategic Relationship Management (SRM) Analyst plays a key role managing SLC Management’s key vendor relationships as a liaison between the members of the SRM team, internal business contacts, and our vendors for key functions spanning the vendor relationship: invoice management, risk management, and license management.

  • Risk Management

  • Solicit and evaluate information as supplied by vendors in response to Sun Life’s Third-Party Risk Policy.
  • Following up with vendors, as needed, to gather additional information.
  • Perform various other reviews of vendor supplied documentation related to business continuity planning/ disaster recovery and information security to ensure that controls surrounding these processes are adequate.
  • Support in the coordination of Risk management activities across SRM, Business operations & Technology teams.

License Management

  • In conjunction with SRM team members, participate in the investigation and resolution of issues relative to user requests for vendor licenses.
  • Submitting requests to vendors on behalf of designated users to add, modify, or remove licenses.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of user licenses against HR supplied employee reports.
  • Maintain comprehensive user license grid across SRM’s vendor inventory.
  • Responding to queries of internal and external vendors on license requests issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications (heading) / Compétences (titre)

  • Experience with vendor contracts and an understanding of third-party risk management preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Word). Prior Salesforce experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Establishes good rapport with internal clients and external vendors to ensure good working relationships.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, including aptitude towards problem identification, resolution, and comprehension.
  • Ability to manage work to fixed deadlines, and transparently and concisely report on work progress.
  • University Degree

  • Invoice Management

  • Daily monitoring of SRM Invoices email inbox.
  • Review and validation of new invoices prior to payment.
  • In conjunction with SRM team members, participate in the investigation and resolution of issues relative to vendor invoice reconciliation.
  • Setting up purchase orders and collaborating with Accounts Payable to get invoices paid.
  • Maintaining invoice payment details via logging all invoices in Salesforce.
  • Responding to queries of internal and external vendors on invoice issues in a timely manner.
  • Elevation of time-sensitive issues to SRM management for prompt resolution, and definition of action items and timelines when to resolve these issues.
