Job Overview

The SRE Operations Engineer is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and compliance of the company’s application systems and components. This role focuses on maintaining highly reliable system operations while safeguarding user personal information through robust storage, access control, and compliance-focused architecture. The engineer will manage daily operational tasks, build secure and compliant operational processes, and enhance system reliability and performance through automation and continuous optimization. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with an understanding of data protection requirements and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities1. High Availability & System Stability
  • Perform daily system monitoring, alert handling, and incident response.
  • Conduct regular system health checks, performance tuning, and preventive maintenance.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide timely resolution for production incidents.
  • Continuously optimize system performance to improve stability and reliability.
2. Compliance & Secure Access Governance
  • Ensure operational architecture, workflows, and data-handling processes comply with relevant data protection and privacy laws.
  • Implement and maintain secure access controls, user permission management, and data governance practices.
  • Support internal and external audits, generate required documentation, and ensure full traceability for regulatory checks.
  • Maintain compliance for systems handling sensitive or personal data.
3. Change & Release Management
  • Follow best practices for change management, including planning, risk assessment, version control, and rollback strategies.
  • Support deployment and release activities, ensuring operational readiness and minimal service disruption.
  • Maintain documentation for release processes and operational procedures.
4. Automation & Infrastructure Optimization
  • Drive operational automation, including designing and implementing automated scripts, tools, and monitoring systems.
  • Optimize infrastructure resource allocation to support system scalability and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline workflows and enhance operational maturity.
5. Operational Excellence & Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Provide input and recommendations on system architecture and operational design.
  • Produce and maintain operational documentation, including SOPs, architecture diagrams, runbooks, and contingency plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across regions to support system improvements and operational planning.
Authority & Scope
  • Execution Authority:
    Responsible for executing operational tasks and activities aligned with the role.
  • Recommendation Authority:
    Provide suggestions for improvements to operational processes, tools, and workflows.
QualificationsBasic Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Relevant certifications in IT, cloud, or software technology are advantageous.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in cloud services, application operations, or SRE/DevOps roles.
Required Technical Skills
  1. Strong understanding of cloud platform deployment and management (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
  2. Experience with automation and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  3. Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with cross-regional or global teams.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and operational security frameworks.
