The Sr SAP Consultant will implement and support SAP PAPM and FPSL solutions for financial reporting in banking or insurance, ensuring compliance with financial standards.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled SAP Consultant with hands-on experience in SAP PAPM and SAP FPSL to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP solutions to meet financial and performance management needs, primarily within the banking or insurance domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement end-to-end solutions using SAP PAPM and FPSL.
- Customize models to meet complex financial and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Work closely with finance teams to align system functionality with business goals.
- Perform data modeling, mapping, and integration from various source systems.
- Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and troubleshooting for existing configurations.
- Document functional and technical specifications, user guides, and test cases.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and other financial standards during FPSL implementation.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with SAP PAPM.
- Experience with SAP FPSL (Financial Product Subledger).
- Strong understanding of financial instruments, accounting rules, and subledger systems.
- Expertise in SAP HANA and SAP Fiori environments.
- Proficient in data modeling and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction and solution presentations.
Good to Have:
- Experience in banking, financial services, or insurance domain.
- Knowledge of IFRS 9, IFRS 17, or Solvency II regulations.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Finance and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Certification in SAP FPSL or PAPM.
