What's the role?
The role of Sr. Sales Manager, Multi-Industry Pursuit - APAC is a key sales and business development position reporting to the Sr. Director of Pre Sales and Business Development of the APAC region. We are seeking a results-driven senior sales manager to develop and drive our go-to-market strategies and sales pursuits for HERE's business solutions in fleet management, mobility and road transportation, GIS and location intelligence across diverse (non-automotive) industry-segments in APAC
You will be responsible for driving APAC revenue growth in our multi-industry business. You have a background in B2B sales, business development and strategic account management with expertise in guiding sales teams through complex sales cycles, develop and train sales teams on sales processes and best practices, create and execute go-to-market strategies and plans.
The role requires a deep understanding of target industries, fast-changing marketing dynamics with our customers with the ability to build customer and partner relationships, develop customer business cases and successfully drive customer value propositions for leveraging HERE Business Solutions in our multi-industry sales segment.
The role will engage and lead with HERE sales teams across the sales-process with key customers from early-engagement to deal-closing focusing on connecting the HERE's value proposition to customer business priorities.
The role will be the key-contact and will own the go-to-market coordination for development of inbound APAC business from HERE's worldwide strategic multi-industry partners and hyper-scalers.
Your main responsibilities include:
Sales Strategy and Business Development

  • Develop and execute multi-industry sales strategies to drive revenue growth aligned with APAC business goals and priorities.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across diverse industries broadening the company's geographic and customer base.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs and competitive landscapes.
  • Customize sales approaches for different industries ensuring alignment with customer needs.
  • Represent HERE at industry events, conferencing and networking forums.


Sales Execution and Performance Management

  • Drive go-to-market initiatives with sales teams to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
  • Own the go-to-market coordination for development of inbound APAC business from HERE's worldwide strategic multi-industry partners.
  • Engage and lead with HERE sales teams to identify and close key opportunities in the APAC Multi-Industry Segment.
  • Provide opportunity analysis. Be the subject matter expert on value selling. Clearly connect customer insights and observed pain points to relevant HERE business solutions. Build the business case model and proposals in support of proposed solutions to APAC customers.


Leadership and Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with regional and global teams to align APAC Multi-industry sales efforts with company objectives
  • Partner with sales- and partner teams throughout the HERE Sales process
  • Partner with global multi-industry teams to ensure alignment, leverage best practices and grow inbound and outbound inter regional sales.
  • Actively support the account teams with solution advice, presentations, and customer communications ensuring the success of the HERE Sales Process
  • Build a network and engage with business groups and relevant function groups to keep the full overview of the HERE portfolio and capabilities e.g. pricing, marketing, strategy, portfolio planning, research.


Who are you?
T o be successful in this role you possess the following skill sets and competencies.

  • 10+ years in B2B sales, business development or strategic account management in the tech industry.
  • Experience in handling complex sales cycles and large enterprise deals
  • Proven track record in building successful key customer- and strategic partner relationships.
  • Ability to adapt sales strategies across different industries
  • Strong negotiation and deals closing skills
  • Strong matrix management and influence skills across different regions and cultures.
  • Ability to strongly 'connect the dots' of vision to execution.
  • Strong customer acumen and executive presence.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, results-driven, and adaptable to changing market conditions
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field; additional certifications in technology and engineering are a plus.
