Sr Product Portfolio Manager

As the Senior Product Portfolio Manager, you have end-to-end accountability for the entire product portfolio for a specific geographic area (SEA ) and driving a product strategy and roadmap aligned with broader organizational strategies, deeply engaging with other disciplines at a leadership level to ensure expected business outcomes. You provide informal leadership to product managers and product owners as part of a large, sometimes virtual team. You will make a significant contribution to commercializing innovation and improving product development practices.

In this role you will:

• Develop a deep understanding of HERE’s business model and objectives, aligning product business cases, product strategy and roadmaps for large, strategic products or small sets of products throughout their life-cycle, including phases of high volatility
• Engage directly with customers, combining their input with insight into markets to define and prioritized product requirements
• Define a comprehensive set of KPIs, monitor business performance and initiate efforts to adjust strategy and operations to ensure expected business outcomes
• Provide direct leadership to Product Managers and / or Product Owners that manage products within the SEA region, increasing their effectiveness and preparing them for broader span of control
• Ensure direct reports are aligned and engaged to achieve company innovation objectives.
• Drive improvements to product management and product development theory and practice, driving continuous operational improvement.

You will play a critical role in the transformation and growth ambition of HERE. You will work closely with the SEA Sales Lead as well as the Regional Leadership Team, by contributing to executing its Product and Portfolio strategy. You are a strong fit for this role if you possess the following qualifications, skills, competencies and work experience

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Science, Engineering, Business or related fields
• 15+ years relevant professional experience in technology/software industry with 6+ years in a product management role
• Strong track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
• Ability to formulate the vision and strategy for a product portfolio within the assigned geography ( SEA)
• Knowledge and/or understanding of Maps and Location-Based services will be beneficial, though not mandatory
• Experience in motivating and managing others by influencing, particularly other Product Managers or Product Owners
• Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
• Ability to collect relevant data and analyze it to produce recommendations and perform root-cause analysis
• Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions
• You are as self-starter with the ability to identify, initiate, and lead large scale projects.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English to provide fact-based recommendations
• Ability to interface with all levels in HERE and customers
