Role Purpose

We are looking for a highly analytical and hands-on Sr. Performance Manager to join the Display team with focus on programmatic and direct partner media initiatives for our client. This role requires expertise in programmatic media, demand-side platforms (DSPs), and direct partner engagement to drive performance and optimisation across the display channel.

This role is highly data-driven with minimal client-facing responsibilities. You will work closely with cross-regional stakeholders to plan, execute and optimise campaigns efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 60–70% focus on DSPs / programmatic media platforms.

  • 30–40% focus on direct partners (publishers) such as apps / websites.

  • Hands-on optimisation knowledge to achieve strict performance thresholds.

  • Analyse campaign performance reports, identify trends, and make actionable recommendations.

  • Quantify results of changes and optimisations to measure impact.

  • Conduct quality assurance (QA) checks to ensure campaign setup, tracking, and reporting accuracy.

  • Planning: Recommend budget splits, liaise with partners to forecast acquisition, CPA, and projected spend targets.

  • Creative alignment: Ensure creative assets meet partner specifications and best practices; liaise with strategy and partner teams for delivery.

  • Budget briefing: Ensure approved budgets are correctly implemented; communicate budget, creative, timeline, and targeting requirements to partners.

  • In-flight monitoring: Track campaign activity, make optimisation suggestions, and produce insights and commentary.

  • Plan programmatic media strategies on DSP platforms.

  • Plan creative strategies for maximum ROI.

  • Deep understanding of DSP operations to leverage platform-specific optimisation levers effectively.

  • Maintain and develop relationships with programmatic and direct media partners.

  • Assess and suggest new partners or solutions for testing.

  • Stay abreast of market trends and partner capabilities to inform performance strategies.

  • Provide guidance and support to junior/offshore team members.

  • Collaborate with cross-regional stakeholders to ensure flawless campaign execution.

  • May involve client-facing interactions as the role evolves.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Strong DSP background with hands-on experience across multiple platforms.

  • Proven experience managing programmatic and direct partner campaigns for tech or consumer-focused brands.

  • Strong analytical skills: able to analyse reports, spot trends, recommend changes, and quantify results.

  • Experience conducting QA to ensure campaign accuracy and tracking reliability.

  • Agency or in-house experience in the tech sector is a major plus.

  • Comfortable working with cross-regional teams; independent, self-starter mindset.

  • Line management or team-support experience, with effective delegation and mentoring of junior team members.
