Job Description

Team Summary
The Global / Regional Sellers team is responsible for growing business with Global / Regional Sellers in Asia Pacific markets.  Visa has reinforced its focus on the growth of the seller side ecosystem by developing partnerships, enhancing market investments and having the right talent to execute directly with our regional seller clients.
The role is based in the Singapore Market Support Centre and will report to the Head of Global / Regional Sellers Business Development.

What a Senior Manager, Regional Sellers Business Development does at Visa:

  • Lead Visa’s end-to-end business development process for the Global / Regional Sellers in the Asia Pacific region
  • Own global business development efforts for identified seller partners headquartered in Asia Pacific
  • Accountable for the entire sales funnel: developing sales strategy, generating leads, maintaining new account pipeline, developing sales material, prospecting potential clients, as well as structuring and closing partnerships
  • Responsible for discovering and selling products and services across Visa’s three strategic focus areas of Core (Consumer Issuing), New Flows (Money Movement and B2B), and Value-Added Services (such as Cybersource, Loyalty Solutions, Data and Risk solutions and more)
  • Cultivate meaningful relationships with executive and senior management contacts within our prospect partners on the seller side of the ecosystem
  • Responsible for effectively handing over successfully developed partnerships to Regional Sellers AE team for implementation and execution

The Global / Regional Sellers Business Development, Asia Pacific, will be responsible for the delivery of significant incremental sales and expanded business relationships for Visa Inc. This role will be critical in identifying new regional partners and expanding relationships with our existing partner base.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in highly successful businesses that have a strong track record of sales, client service, strategic development and execution.
  • Deep experience in the seller side of the business.
  • Outstanding executive communications skills with a hunger to win business with new partners
  • Experience setting and leading a team to deliver against ambitious sales targets.
  • Strong solutions-oriented skillset and proven ability to identify and structure holistic multi-product partnerships.
  • Experience in client and partner deal formation, including structuring and executing partnership deals.
  • Ability to structure and manage complex cross-enterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels, internally and externally.
  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex technical and business issues and solutions to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand the depths of the AP marketplace dynamics including the regulatory environment, technological and consumer behavioral shifts, tying this back to impact to Visa.
