Position: Sr. Manager, Biz Marketing (Customer Growth)

Coupang Taiwan is looking for an extra-ordinary talent to join their marketing team to manage customer activation programs to deliver customer growth for the business.

What will you do? 

  • Design and implement specific activations / programs / promotions targeting customers in different stages of their journey on Coupang to deliver specific goals like customer growth, new category purchase, lapse customer reactivation, increased order frequency etc
  • Track, Analyse and review performance of the program and make necessary modifications to run the program effectively
  • Work with different channels and teams (CRM channels, OM, performance marketing, Product and Analytics) to drive specific execution components for the customer programs
  • Devise new ideas to unlock growth for specific customer cohorts like lapsed customers, new customers or loyal cohorts and rigorously test them to identify winners which can be scaled
  • Partner with Finance to implement controls and guard rails for strong governance of the programs and the associated marketing expenditure
  • Work on unearthing insights along with marketing insights team to identify opportunities on an ongoing basis
  • Own the customer funnel and implement changes along with other marketing teams to drive increased conversion across the funnel 

Essential Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of CRM, Customer or Loyalty Programs, channel marketing, promotions or Program Management experience in an e commerce or digital business environment 
  • Strong analytical skills and track record of data based decision making
  • Independent and Entrepreneurial – ability to work with minimal guidance in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong ability to prioritise across tasks and work streams
  • Ability to think customer first and drive initiatives to deliver growth 
  • Strong communication skills with high level of proficiency in both Mandarin and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Marketing or Program Management experience directly related to CRM or customer programs
  • Hands-on E-commerce or B2C domain experience is strongly preferred.
  • Well versed in basic data management / BI tools like SQL, Python, R etc and high degree of comfort dealing with complex sets of data for analysis
