About this role:
Avidbots is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A, reporting to the Director of FP&A to support core financial planning, forecasting, and reporting activities across the company. This individual will play a key role in developing scalable planning processes, including implementing FP&A software, consolidating functional budgets, driving executive reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making. This is a highly visible role that interacts with senior leadership, business unit heads, and external stakeholders (e.g., board, investors).
Key Responsibilities:
Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning
- Support the company-wide annual budget and monthly forecast process
- Consolidate inputs from functional business leaders and accounting team inputs for working capital inputs
- Develop and maintain financial models to support long-range planning (LTP)
- Partner with Accounting to support monthly close and variance analyses
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Support creation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages for executive leadership and the board
- Analyze company performance vs. budget/forecast across revenue, margin, opex, and cash flow
- Develop KPIs and dashboards that support actionable insights for business units
Strategic Support
- Support scenario planning, capital allocation, pricing strategy, and company OKRs
- Work with supply chain and operations teams to improve inventory planning and turns
- Work cross-functionally on strategic projects such as fundraising, formation of strategic partnerships and development of various financing options
- Serve as a thought partner to the CFO and Director of FP&A
Systems & Process Improvement
- Partner with Director of FP&A and Controller to implement FP&A software
- Drive improvements in financial systems, tools, and reporting automation (e.g., Epicor, FP&A software, Salesforce and other corporate systems); enhance FP&A workflows and governance for accuracy, speed, and scalability
Qualifications:
- 4-6+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or management consulting.
- Prior experience at a high-growth startup or public tech company strongly preferred with hardware, software and services business model preferred
- Expert-level Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Epicor, Data Rails, Planful)
- Strong business acumen and the ability to influence across the organization
- Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills (experience with Board decks a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
