About this role:
We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, Business Analysis, that will report to the Director of FP&A and will serve as a financial business partner translating data into insights and enabling financially sound decision in key functional areas across the organization (sales, customer success, operations, supply chain, engineering, service, etc.) as we continue to drive scalability of our business operations.
This is a highly visible role within our FP&A team, ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving, cross-functional environments and has experience in both productized hardware and recurring revenue/SaaS business models.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales, Customer Success Teams:
- Support GTM financial planning and performance analysis across Sales, Marketing, and CS
- Own sales commission planning and reporting, program spend, and ROI analysis
- Develop models for bookings, shipments, churn, expansion, as well as RAAS and Capex sale models
- Lead development of pricing models, customer financing options (lease vs buy) resulting in successful sales, and support quota design, and sales / customer success capacity planning
- Provide finance input into go-to-market strategies including channel expansion, business partnerships, international expansion, and service offerings
Operational & Supply Chain Finance:
- Own the financial planning and analysis of COGS and OpEx for Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics
- Partner with Supply Chain to model inventory turns, lead times, landed costs, and working capital
- Forecast and track freight costs, supplier pricing, and contract manufacturing spend as well as build models to increase efficiency and effectiveness of contract manufacturing process
Robots Deployment, Field Service & Warranty Analytics:
- Support deployment, field operations cost planning, including technician staffing, third party management, pricing and parts strategy
- Identify opportunities to reduce service costs by optimizing workflows, reducing break-fix costs and tracking warranty analytics
- Partner with deployment, and service teams to develop operational and financial metrics to help track effectiveness of scalability projects
R&D & Engineering Finance:
- Identify opportunities to improve R&D ROI and support product teams in providing financial input during projects prioritization
- Support business cases for prototyping, engineering change requests/orders, sustaining engineering and new product line development initiatives
- Partner with department leaders to prioritize investments in tools, automation, and lab/test infrastructure.
- Support make-vs-buy analysis, vendor contract reviews, and ROI on capital projects.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, finance business partnering, or commercial finance roles
- Prior experience supporting GTM teams in a hardware + software + services company
- Strong financial modeling and analysis skills; expert in Excel/Sheets and fluent in Salesforce with strong data analysis and manipulation skills
- Experience with hardware + software + services / gross margin / COGS dynamics
- Experience with modern FP&A tools preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
