As a Micron Global Quality FE Central Wafer Quality (SNR) Engineer, you will be a member of the worldwide quality team, responsible for driving quality and reliability initiatives into FE MFG network for high bandwidth memory (HBM) product for critical customer AI applications.
You will work closely with DEG PE/PYE/GQ, FE fab teams and Central PIE to establish BKMs, set up program with line of sight metric, develop a strategy and closely work on execution to achieve program milestone. Key program activities include FE and supporting Time to Mature DPM program and Time to Mature Uncorrectable Error program execution for HBM product and improving customer field DPM excellence.

Responsibilities and Tasks
- Provide Strategic Support in Quality Program/Project Management
- Develop, manage, and/or communicate quality strategy with line of sight metrics and goals to monitor execution health.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives or enabling projects that support FLT and companywide quality objectives.
- Develop and drive compliance in global business process related to product quality.
- Manage the projects to enable the implementation path for new initiatives.
- Support program expansion for ID1 including 170s DRAM
- Provide Tactical Support
- Work with cross-functional team to develop and deploy BKMs of BE to FE collaboration process like WL DPM forecast and RMA DPM reduction etc.
- Develop metric to monitor product targets, including PGL, Critical RD and DPM etc. Work with fab teams to meet targets and provide the roadmap.
- Part of the FE quality team as SME in reliability fail modes and its associated detection, drives and engages in quality projects for overall DPM reduction.
- Work with fab team to act on and provide Corrective and Preventive Actions with regards to customer feedbacks on quality and product issues.
- Work with fab team and collaborate with Central PIE to ensure fast internal DPM reduction during tech node ramping.
- Work with fab and PIE on process changes to improve DPM and repair density performance
Qualifications:
- Good presentation skill with capability to lead network large group discussion.
- Strong project management and problem solving skills
- Data extraction, analysis and reporting skills a plus.
- Expert in frontend manufacturing process, frontend/backend test flows, methodologies and product fail modes a plus.
- Knowledge in DRAM product a plus
- Proficient in English for communication in a verbal and written form
- Work location in Taiwan (Both Taoyuan and Taichung).
Education
- Bachelors Degree and above in engineering or related field of study
Experience
- Required 3 years plus experience in any of the following: Semiconductor Company Product Quality Assurance, Process Integration, Product Engineer related area
