Sr. SAP FICO Analyst

JOB SUMMARY

The Sr. SAP FICO Analyst, is responsible for supporting the SAP S4 FICO Solution as a team member of global SAP Finance team and responsible for planning and executing the long term support initiatives for the Finance team. The primary focus will be partnering with business and IT teams to design and implement Finance projects within the budgetary guidelines mutually agreed upon with IT Management and the business areas supported and that the results are of a consistently high quality that meet the business needs. Also responsible for the integrity, availability, and security of the SAP S4 solution and meeting established IT goals. This position is responsible for the design, implementation and support of SAP Financials with a focus on FI/CO modules (but not limited to): General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Treasury, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Cost Controlling, Profitability Analysis and Profit Center Accounting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working closely with Finance and Tax teams to understand the business requirements that drive the system’s functional and technical design of high quality solutions that are aligned with business and IT strategies
  • Define and monitor all configuration and development standards for Finance area to ensure adherence to quality requirements, functional and technical design, configuration and coding, and technical unit testing of object modifications and other development work needed to comply with the SAP environments.
     
  • Identify and estimate functional and technical requirements for projects and defect resolution that ensures applications meet all project requirements and stay within budget
  • Define and Manage the quality assurance process to ensure adherence to all Kontoor’s IT development standards
  • Create documentation and training materials and assist with organizational change management, including training of post go-live support team.
  • Managing security development necessary for all new developments and changes in Finance area
  • Work with Integration team for design and development of interfaces using PI/PO, SAP BTP integration suite and EDI. Responsible for monitoring the daily and monthly jobs and handling in case of failures.
     
  • Independently facilitate workshops with business users to define business requirements, analyze, create and validate requirements into detailed functional specifications that can be translated to technical specifications. Manage and maintain the WRICEF inventory and tracking tools

LEADERSHIP

  • Project Management, Communication and presentation skills.

TYPICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical development discipline, computer science, or other relevant
  • SAP FICO experience and integration with other modulus in SAP such as MM, PP and SD
  • SAP HANA experience
  • EDI IDOC, Interfaces and ABAP programming
