Responsible for driving claims management initiatives and impact between client insurer and hospital providers

How you would make a difference

  • identify highest areas of claims management opportunities in provider space
  • design initiatives or agreements needed to capture impact
  • work on the ground with client provider management team to implement these
  • define reporting analytics needed to track value and impact of provider changes
  • create a path to value driven funding models with client team
  • identify operational gaps and solutions for implementation of new provider changes that can help capture savings impact
  • draft negotiation documents and review existing agreements
  • guide and prioritise with client leadership to maintain traction throughout the year on large opportunity areas.

What you need to be successful

  • Bachelor or master’s degree
  • Clinical background as a practicing doctor is highly valued
  • At least 7-10 years of healthcare domain experience in fields such as health insurance, healthcare consulting, or hospital management roles ideally in Singapore or Asia markets such as Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines or Hong Kong. We remain open to global experience if very relevant. 
  • Demonstrated ability to guide and influence diverse groups of professionals that have expertise in different domains and at times conflicting agendas
  • Solid understanding of the healthcare ecosystem in Singapore, within the context of Asia and its forward-looking trends
  • An analytical and data-led mind is key with pragmatic solutioning within available resources
  • Ability to craft concise and informative documents to aid debate, decision making and negotiations.
