We are looking for a Market Development & Media Planning Specialist to join our global marketing team. This role will play a key role in driving growth and brand visibility across assigned markets. Go-To-Market (GTM) Execution
Develop and implement GTM strategies for assigned markets, aligning with overall business objectives
Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities, consumer trends, and competitive landscape
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Performance Marketing, CRM, Sales, etc.) to ensure cohesive market activation plans
Monitor and analyse market performance, adjusting strategies to optimise results and achieve market-level KPIs
Media Planning & Campaign Management
Plan and execute media campaigns across digital, social, and offline channels tailored to market needs
Manage media budgets effectively, ensuring cost efficiency and maximum impact
Work closely with media agencies and internal teams to deliver high-quality campaigns on time and within budget
Track and report campaign performance, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement
Market Development & Partner Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with tourism boards, airport authorities, and other strategic partners in assigned markets
Negotiate and manage co-marketing agreements, ensuring mutual value and brand alignment
Coordinate joint campaigns and initiatives with partners to drive traffic, awareness, and conversions
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with in-market teams, agencies and creative functions to ensure localisation and alignment
Keep updated with industry trends, new tools, and platform updates
Recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and results
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in market development, media planning, or related roles.
Proven experience managing partnerships and executing co-marketing initiatives.
Experience managing multi-market campaigns for global brands; travel, tourism or aviation experience is a strong plus
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimise performance.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Good to have: Understanding of the media landscape in China (e.g. WeChat, Xiaohongshu, Baidu)
