As a Solution Engineer, you will be responsible for uncovering customer business issues, understanding their problems, and finding solutions to solve them by using our technology suite.  You will be responsible to have in depth knowledge of our product offerings and able to articulate the value proposition of our tools.  You will work closely with both new logo account executives and strategic account partners and partner with them in account opportunities.  This role requires a deep understanding of our technology stack, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

Responsibilities 

  • Works and collaborates with account executives and strategic account partners within assigned geographic territories.    
  • Leads discovery calls with prospects uncovering pain points with the intent of addressing these issues in a demo of one or more ValGenesis platforms.  
  • Demonstrate capabilities of the ValGenesis platforms and highlight the unique features that distinguish us from competition.   
  • Educate prospects and customers on the value proposition of ValGenesis platforms.   
  • Creates ValGenesis platform micro demos designed to influence decision makers to choose our solutions.   
  • Presents industry related topics at conferences and trade shows and external facing lunch and learns.   
  • Reviews functional and system requirements within RFI/RFP’s and provides responses to requirements when needed.   
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in chemical engineering, pharmaceutical science, chemistry, computer science, information technology  
  • 2 + years of industry experience in Quality, Validation, and Quality Risk Management. 
  • Industry knowledge and understanding of the basic regulatory requirements concerning validation, QRM, CPV, and QbD
  • Understanding of 21 CFR Part 11, CSA, risk analysis, and pharmaceutical manufacturing Proficient with sales enablement tools such as CRM, presales platforms, etc. 
  • Extensive understanding of computer technologies and network infrastructure 
  • Knowledge of cloud computing 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Self-motivated and willing to tackle challenges 
  • Ability to cultivate ideas independently and bring a unique perspective to the forefront 
  • Team-oriented collaborator that will partner with sales to strategize and close deals 
  • Excels at presenting complex solutions and simplifying them to end users 
  • Ability to consult with clients as an expert 

Nice to have:

  • CSV, Equipment Validation, Instrument Validation, Cleaning Validation, Process Validation, Analytical Method Validation experience 
  • Knowledge of mobile computing platforms (Android, IOS, Windows) 
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and SSO technologies 
  • Experience with databases including MS SQL server, Oracle 
  • Knowledge of Cleaning and Process Validation
  • Project management experience 
  • Customer Support experience is a plus 
  • Sales experience
